The Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (the ‘FITP’) wishes to inform you that, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (the ‘Regulation’), it needs to process your personal data, collected automatically or provided by you through browsing or using the Web Site https://giftcard2.fitp.it/ (the “Web Site”). This Privacy Policy, therefore, refers exclusively to the Web Site and does not concern other sites or online services that can be reached via hypertext links that may be published within it.
The Data Controller is FITP, with registered office at Stadio Olimpico – Curva Nord, Ingresso 44, Scala G – 00135 – Roma (Italy) (hereinafter, the “Data Controller”) email: privacy@federtennis.it The Data controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (“DPO”), you can contact the DPO via PEC at dpo@pec.federtennis.it.
In order to allow you to use the Web Site to purchase a Gift Card (i.e. a voucher with a pre-established value associated with a code, which allows you to purchase tickets and subscriptions to attend events organised by the FITP specifically indicated on the Web Site), as well as to access your reserved area and subscribe to our newsletter - the Data Controller needs to know and process some of your personal data, i.e. your name, surname, date of birth, and email address. Furthermore, the controller needs to know and process your social security number, your home address, your telephone number. In the event that, once you have made the purchase of a Gift Card you would like to request the issuance of an invoice, in addition to the data already entered for registration and purchase, we will also ask you for your bank and/or postal account data
Navigation Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Web Site acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the Web Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment..
This data, which is necessary to use the Web Site, is processed for the sole purpose of obtaining statistical information on the use of services (most visited pages, number of visitors per time slot or per day, geographical areas of origin, etc.) and to check the proper functioning of the services offered. Browsing data do not persist for more than seven days and are deleted immediately after their aggregation, without prejudice to the possible need to ascertain crimes by the judicial authorities.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
The creation of your reserved area, the purchase of Gift Cards and the subscription to our newsletter through the Web Site entail the acquisition of your first name, last name, date of birth, email address and the other data listed in paragraph 2 above. Furthermore, the Data Controller may become aware of any other personal data included in the message or in the fields to be filled in during the purchase process.

This is done purely for internal statistical analysis of access, to improve the Web Site and simplify its use, as well as to monitor its correct functioning. The personal data in the possession of the Data Controller are exclusively those provided by you when browsing the Web Site and when using its services. This data will be processed exclusively to:
Your personal data may be processed using both computerised and paper media.
The Data Controller intends to keep your personal data for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and processed.
Therefore, the personal data of navigation and those acquired through the use of the Web Site will not be kept for more than seven days.
With regard to the personal data processed to allow you to make Gift Card purchases in compliance with current regulations, including accounting regulations, the Data Controller will keep your personal data for a period not exceeding 10 years. Subsequently, we will delete them or transform them into anonymous form in a permanent and non-reversible manner.
With regard to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, in compliance with regulatory requirements and provided that you have given your explicit consent, the FITP has agreed to automatically delete your personal data or convert them into anonymous form in a permanent and non-reversible manner, within 24 months of the registration of the data collected for marketing purposes.
With regard to all other personal data, as it is not possible to determine precisely their retention period, the Data Controller undertakes as of now to base its processing on the principles of appropriateness, relevance and minimisation of data, as required by the Regulation, checking annually the need for their retention. Therefore, once the purposes for which they have been collected and processed have been fulfilled, we will remove them from our systems and records and/or take appropriate measures to render them anonymous so that you cannot be identified.
This is except where we need to retain such data to comply with legal obligations, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
The processed data will not be disclosed to third parties. However, the following may become aware of your data, in relation to the processing purposes set out above
Furthermore, your personal data may also be disclosed to our employees, provided that they are previously designated as persons acting under the authority of the Data Controller in accordance with Article 29 of the Regulations or as System Administrators.
Any disclosure of your personal data will take place in full compliance with the legal provisions of the Data Protection Regulation and with the technical and organisational measures taken by the Data Controller to ensure an adequate level of security.
The Data Controller intends to transfer your personal data to the United States for the provision of services on the Web Site. Such transfer is subject to adequate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR. The Data Controller does not intend to use automated decision-making processes, including profiling as referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) of the Regulation.
The provision of your personal data for the purposes set out in paragraph 3.1 is mandatory as your refusal to provide the personal data requested would make it impossible for FITP to allow you to use the Web Site to purchase the Gift Card.
The provision of your personal data for the purposes set out in paragraph 3.2 is optional, but failure to provide such data, while not preventing you from using the Web Site in any way, may prevent us from allowing you to take full advantage of the benefits we offer to our community through advertising, commercial and direct marketing information, to send you our newsletter, and to inform you about additional services, events and promotions that we aim to offer you..
In relation to the processing of your personal data, pursuant to the Regulation, you as the data subject have the right to: i) withdraw your consent to the processing at any time. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the withdrawal; ii) request from the Data Controller access to your personal data; iii) obtain the rectification and integration of personal data considered inaccurate; iv) obtain the erasure of your personal data; v) obtain the restriction of the processing of your personal data; vi) receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as well as you have the right to transmit such data to another controller without hindrance; vii) object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(e) or (f), including profiling; viii) not to be subjected to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling; ix) to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority or bring an action before the appropriate courts, if you consider that the processing concerning you is in breach of the Regulation.
